Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ’s)

How do I get my pre-purchased registration ticket for the day of the conference?
Focal Point Ministries will mail wristbands to registrants up to the week prior to the event. If you register the week of the conference we will have your wristbands held for you at the registration table.
Can I get a refund if I change my plans?

There are no refunds. If your circumstances change and you cannot attend the conference you may sell your ticket or bless someone else with it as a gift.

Should I bring my bible?
Yes! Following in the Word will not only help you personalize the speaker’s messages, but will allow you to take notes in your bible to help you reflect on what you’ve heard!
How long is the conference day?
Although the doors will open at 7:30 a.m., the actual conference runs from 8:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
What age group is this conference designed for?
The Iron Sharpens Iron conference is for women of all ages, 13 and up.
Is this conference appropriate for my teenage daughter?
Yes! There will be breakout sessions with topics appropriate for young women ages 13 to 18.
Is child care available?
No, child care is not provided.
How should I dress?
Dress casual and comfortable. Individual room temperatures can vary. You may wish to dress in layers.
Are seats reserved or assigned?
The conference is open seating. Seats are not assigned, it is a first-come/first-served basis.
Is lunch provided?
An optional boxed lunch from Chick-fil-A is available for purchase. It includes their original chicken sandwich, waffle chips and a chocolate chunk cookie and your choice of soda-pop or water! There will also be other snacks, water and coffee provided throughout the day.
Can I order a special lunch to meet my dietary needs?
No. We are sorry, but we are unable to accommodate all of the unique and large variety of dietary needs & restrictions. Lunch is an optional choice with your ticket.
How long is the lunch break?
The lunch break is 55 minutes. The exhibits will be open during this time where there will be opportunity to meet and talk with various speakers.
Where can I eat my lunch?
Lunch can be eaten anywhere in the building.
Can we get a recording of the seminars?
Yes, all sessions are recorded and are available for purchase in MP3 audio format. The entire conference is loaded onto a USB drive and you will be able to take it home with you when you leave. You may also choose to have it shipped to you for $5 more if time is an issue.
Will there be women’s ministry exhibitors with resources for sale?
Yes, we encourage attendees to visit the exhibit area and check out the latest in women’s resources.
