Women’s Iron Sharpens Iron

Which conference are you coming to?

Equip

Iron Sharpens Iron is an equipping conference for women. We not only seek to build up women, but we strive to help and support the local church by providing seminars to equip women to minister to other women in their own local church. Our main objective is to support you, the local church pastor and your women’s ministry leaders.

Growth

This conference is not just for the leaders. You just never know who God is preparing a new ministry in. You may have a woman sitting in the wings right now that God is preparing to use to minister to other women. Don’t limit your women’s ministry leadership to just a few. Bring as many women as you can and help them to spread their ministry wings.

Fellowship

We encourage you to bring any and all of your women to ISI. It is a great time for your women to experience being with other women from other churches in your community and region, fostering unity in the Body of Christ.

Worship

During the three main sessions, ISI provides a worshipful atmosphere where any woman can engage the risen and living God. The music will be from the ISI Worship Band and will be Spirit-filled praise and worship blending both classic hymns and contemporary Christian music.

  • Focal Point Ministries is currently the only Women's Iron Sharpens Iron conference offered nationally. Iron Sharpens Iron Women’s Conferences serve local churches by equipping them to reach, disciple and mobilize women. This conference is not targeted to individual women but rather to local churches. Each regional ministry believes it is the responsibility of the local church to reach and disciple women and that the regional ministry hosting the conference is present all year long to serve and to help churches.

  • Iron Sharpens Iron Women’s Conferences offer several equipping seminars designed specifically for women. The focus is on training and resourcing women to live for Christ in all areas of life. The seminar topics are specific to women and are rarely offered in the context of local church ministry. The conference does open and close with all the women together for a time of worship and exhortative keynote messages from gifted national speakers.

  • Iron Sharpens Iron Women’s Conferences are for women of all ages (13 and up). The conference platform intentionally promotes and encourages inter-generational ministry. The conviction is that womanhood begins early and that women of all ages need encouragement to finish strong for Christ. Seminars are designed to be specific to different women in different seasons of life.

  • Iron Sharpens Iron Women’s Conferences are trustworthy. They occur once a year – every year – in the same location and in the same place in the calendar. The intention of the conference is to be a resource that local churches can trust and depend on. The ISI Women’s Conference is a reliable resource that can be added to the calendar of the local church. For example, 2025 will be our 19th consecutive year serving churches in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa and Minnesota through our Iron Sharpens Iron events.

  • Iron Sharpens Iron Women’s Conferences are one-day conferences. They start at 8:30 AM and end at 4:00 PM. Women can begin their day at home and have dinner at the end of the day at home. The (group) registration cost is $59 ($43 for students) (prices include lunch) and the one-day format eliminates extensive travel and lodging costs. This conference model is ideal in serving the majority of women.

  • Iron Sharpens Iron Women’s Conferences are “live”. There are no webcasts, simulcasts, telecasts, or videotaped portions of the conference. All speakers and musicians are live and in-person at the event, available for the women to interact with.

  • Iron Sharpens Iron Women’s Conferences are Christ-centered and are a resource to different churches across different denominations. The conference is intentionally a ‘safe place’ where denominational distinctives are not emphasized but rather there is an emphasis on the unity found in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Keynote Speakers

Cheri Keaggy

Beginning as a worship leader at a small church in Southern California, veteran CCM artist Cheri Keaggy has ministered through music and testimony for over thirty years. Her debut album, Child of the Father, released to rave reviews in 1994. With ten albums, nine Number One songs, three Dove Award nominations and a Dove Award win under her belt, Cheri is a prolific songwriter with classics like “In Remembrance of Me” and “There is Joy in the Lord” sung in churches worldwide. She is also a published contributing author to multiple books and a sought-after keynote speaker who loves Jesus with all her heart.

Always watching for God’s special assignments, her role has expanded to caregiver to the elderly and Grandma to two grandchildren. Cheri lives south of Nashville, TN with her beloved husband, Steven, and their senior dog, Sadie. She has two adult children and enjoys reading, journaling, and spending time with family.

Her passion? God’s Word. Her mission? As follows...

By God’s grace and equipping, it is my life’s joy and privilege to know Christ and make Him known, ministering His message of Hope and Healing through song, speech, and the written word; to tell of His goodness and compel others to do the same for the glory of God.
