About Us
 Focal Point Ministries is a 15-year old, veteran ministry to men and to the local church in Illinois, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Our main objective is to train and equip the local church in ministry to and through its men. We believe that the local church is the vital connection-point in a man's life where all other ministry springs from, whether that is to his family, within his church, or in his community and work environment. Originally formed in 1994 as a Promise Keepers Task Force, Focal Point Ministries has grown into a vital regional field ministry impacting thousands of men in a three-state region.
Roy Abbott heads up the ministry team. His trademark transparency puts men at ease and often gives him the opportunity to share the redemptive power of Jesus Christ with them in almost any setting. Roy and his wife Kim reside in Fulton, IL. They have 3 grown children and one grandchild.
